ItaTransfer is a booking and coordination service for private transfers across Italy.
We help travellers find a professional carrier for journeys from airports, between cities, to hotels, ports and resorts. You send a request, we pass it to an independent licensed carrier, help agree the details and stay in touch until the journey is complete.
Our job is to make booking a transfer straightforward: an agreed route, a confirmed price, the right class of car and direct contact with the carrier.
ItaTransfer provides information, organisational and communication services. Unless the booking confirmation expressly states otherwise, ItaTransfer is not a carrier and does not provide transport services itself.
The contract of carriage is concluded between the passenger and the independent carrier performing the journey. The carrier is responsible for permits, insurance, the condition of the vehicle, safety and performance of the trip.
ItaTransfer is responsible for handling and correctly passing on your request, for the information agreed with you, and for customer support within the scope of its services.
One of the main differences with ItaTransfer is that no prepayment is required on the site. You receive confirmation of the route, the price and the carrier in advance, but you pay for the journey directly to the driver or transport company.
In most cases payment is made after the journey, in cash or by card. The available method is confirmed in advance, so you know the terms before the car arrives.
ItaTransfer does not hold the fare and does not take payment for carriage on the driver behalf, unless the booking confirmation expressly states otherwise.
You do not need to enter card details or pay for the journey to send a request. You pay the carrier on the agreed terms.
The price is confirmed before the trip, so you know how much you pay and to whom. Any extras are agreed before the car arrives.
Before the trip you receive the contact details of the driver or transport company, which makes meeting up and handling flight delays much easier.
Journeys are performed by local licensed drivers and transport companies. We work under written agreements and check our partners permits and insurance.
