The airport is the easy part: Peretola is 6 km away, ≈ €80 and 15 minutes. The real reason to take a driver is Tuscany: the Chianti cellars, the shell-shaped Piazza del Campo in Siena, the towers of San Gimignano — a full day at ≈ €480, with the driver waiting at every stop. The tastings are yours; the driving is his.

About the trains, honestly: to Rome and Bologna the Frecciarossa usually wins for one or two travellers. From three people with luggage, door to door pays for itself, and for Cinque Terre and the coast the car wins outright. Licensed local drivers, fixed prices, payment on the spot.
