The coach is the cheapest way
ATVO and Cortina Express run from Marco Polo to Cortina bus station in roughly two hours, from €12, with about four departures a day and extra Saturday runs in winter. The timetable follows the season, not your flight: if the plane is late, the next coach may be hours away.
There is no train to Cortina
The railway to Cortina closed in 1964. The nearest station is Calalzo-Pieve di Cadore, and from there it is another 30–40 minutes by bus. With skis and suitcases that is two changes for a saving the tickets largely eat up.
The transfer
