ItaTransfer is a booking and coordination service for private transfers in Italy. These terms explain how a booking is made and how responsibilities are divided.
The site is operated by ItaTransfer S.r.l., Via Bellinzona, 48, 22100 Como (CO), Italy.
ItaTransfer provides information, organisational and communication services. Unless the booking confirmation expressly states otherwise, ItaTransfer is not a carrier and does not provide transport services itself.
You send a request: route, date, time, number of passengers and luggage, and your contact details.
The request becomes available to independent professional carriers working in the relevant region. The carrier accepts the job itself — ItaTransfer does not unilaterally assign a particular driver.
Once the job is accepted you receive a confirmation with the final price and the contact details of the assigned driver or transport company.
The contract of carriage is concluded directly between you and the independent carrier performing the journey. ItaTransfer is not a party to that contract.
The carrier is responsible for holding the required permits and insurance, for the condition of the vehicle, for safety and for performing the journey. We work with carriers under written agreements and check our partners permits and insurance.
The calculator shows the price for the route and class of car. The final price is confirmed when a carrier accepts the job and does not change afterwards for the agreed route.
Extras — stops along the way, waiting beyond the included time, route changes — are agreed separately before the car arrives.
No prepayment is required on the site. ItaTransfer does not take payment for carriage: you settle directly with the carrier, unless the booking confirmation expressly states otherwise.
In most cases payment is made at the end of the journey, in cash or by card. The available method is confirmed in advance.
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pickup. For later cancellations the terms depend on the route and the carrier and are stated in the confirmation.
Tell us about changes to the time or route as early as possible: the carrier confirms whether a change is possible.
ItaTransfer is responsible for handling and passing on your request correctly, for the information agreed with you, and for keeping in touch within the scope of its services.
The carrier performing the journey is responsible for the trip itself, the condition of the vehicle, timekeeping and safety.
By sending a request you agree that the details you provide will be processed and passed to the carrier who accepts the job, to the extent needed to perform the journey. See our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by Italian law. This does not limit the consumer rights granted to you by the mandatory rules of your country of residence in the EU.
