ItaTransfer arranges journeys across Italy: we take your request, match a car and driver, fix the price and stay in touch the whole way.
Legally, ItaTransfer acts as an information intermediary between the customer and the carrier: we receive your request and pass it to an independent licensed driver, who performs the journey. ItaTransfer is not a carrier and does not provide transport services; the contract of carriage is concluded directly between you and the driver.
No prepayment is required. You pay for the journey on the spot, directly to the driver — by bank card or in cash. The price agreed when your request is confirmed is final for the stated route; additional services (stops along the way, waiting beyond the included time, night pickups on certain routes) are agreed in advance.
Prices shown on the site are indicative: an estimate based on the route and vehicle class. The exact price is confirmed to you before the ride, when we process your request, and does not change after confirmation.
Cancelling a request is free of charge no later than 24 hours before the pickup time. For later cancellations, the terms depend on the route and are stated at confirmation.
By sending a request you agree to the processing of the details you provide and to their transfer to the driver performing the booking — only to the extent needed to carry out the journey (see our Privacy Policy).
The journey is performed by an independent driver; ItaTransfer is responsible for passing on your request correctly and keeping you informed, but is not a party to the contract of carriage. We work only with drivers who have confirmed valid licences and insurance.
