From Marco Polo to Canazei is 175 km. The valley is long — tell us the village: Canazei, Campitello, Pera, Vigo, Pozza or Moena. The price is fixed before the trip: sedan ≈ €360, minivan for up to eight passengers ≈ €460; tolls included, child seats free. Canazei is a start of the Sella Ronda and the gateway to the Marmolada. At the airport the driver waits 60 minutes. No prepayment.

A train, then the valley bus

The valley has no station, so the journey always comes in two parts: a train to Trento or Bolzano, then a Trentino Trasporti bus up the valley. From Trento the road runs through Val di Fiemme, from Bolzano over the Costalunga pass, which is slower in winter. To the far villages the bus takes about two hours.

The valley is long — name the village

Moena, Vigo, Pozza, Campitello and Canazei sit in a chain along one road, and nearly thirty kilometres separate the ends. The ski pass is shared and a ski bus links them, but “Val di Fassa” is not enough for a driver: Moena and Canazei are forty minutes apart.

The transfer

≈ €360 per car, 2 hours 45 minutes from the terminal to your hotel door. The price is agreed before you fly, the driver tracks the flight and waits with a name sign, skis and boards travel free, and winter tyres and chains are in every car. For four people with skis a minivan is ≈ €460 — about €115 each instead of five hours with a change.

In daylight the train and bus work, and cost €25–40 against €360. A car wins on an evening arrival, with a group, and when your hotel is at the far end of the valley — another hour by bus.
