A train, then the valley bus
The valley has no station, so the journey always comes in two parts: a train to Trento or Bolzano, then a Trentino Trasporti bus up the valley. From Trento the road runs through Val di Fiemme, from Bolzano over the Costalunga pass, which is slower in winter. To the far villages the bus takes about two hours.
The valley is long — name the village
Moena, Vigo, Pozza, Campitello and Canazei sit in a chain along one road, and nearly thirty kilometres separate the ends. The ski pass is shared and a ski bus links them, but “Val di Fassa” is not enough for a driver: Moena and Canazei are forty minutes apart.
The transfer
