Courchevel
The Three Valleys, 600 km of pistes, Courchevel 1850 and its mountain altiport.
We meet you at arrivals with a name sign, load the skis and boards and drive to the door of your hotel. Cars, minivans and minibuses for groups. The price is agreed before the trip; winter tyres and snow chains are in every vehicle.

The price is per vehicle, not per person, and is fixed before departure. It includes the meet and greet, flight waiting time, skis and boards in the luggage, winter tyres and chains. You pay the driver on arrival, by card or in cash.
Found the same route cheaper? Send us the link before you confirm your booking and we will match that price. We compare like for like: a private car of the same class, the same date and time, with the same inclusions. A shared shuttle with other passengers and an auction bid are a different service.

A pair of skis or a board takes the space of two suitcases. A car holds two sets with bags; four people with equipment need a minivan. Tell us how many ski bags you have and we will send a vehicle that fits them, so nothing has to be left behind.
From mid-November to mid-April mountain roads require winter tyres or chains. The vehicles are prepared for the season, the drivers fit chains on the hairpins and know which passes close in heavy snow and how to go round them.
We track the flight number, so a landing at three in the morning or a four-hour delay does not need a phone call: the pickup simply moves to the actual arrival time.
A scheduled bus drops you at the edge of the village, and from there you walk to the apartment through the snow with suitcases and ski bags. We stop at the entrance.
Route, date, flight number and number of passengers. You see the price for every vehicle class straight away in the form, before sending anything.
Availability and the final price are confirmed once the request is accepted. Nothing is charged in advance.
With a name sign at arrivals. You pay on the spot, by card or in cash.
For every resort: the nearest railway station, the bus and the drive. Written as it is, including the cases where the train is cheaper.
In winter the Little St Bernard Pass is closed, so we drive through the Mont Blanc tunnel, Albertville and Moûtiers. Tell us which village — 1300, 1550, 1650 or 1850 — and we will take you to the chalet door. By car it is 357 kilometres from Malpensa, usually 5 h 30 min – 6 h 10 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →Zermatt is closed to cars — that is the thing to know in advance. Vehicles stop in Täsch, five kilometres short of the village, at the Matterhorn Terminal: there is parking there, and a shuttle train leaves every twenty minutes and takes twelve. We drive you to the terminal in Täsch and help move the ski bags onto the platform; inside the village only electric carts and horse carriages are allowed. By rail the whole journey runs to Brig or Visp through the Simplon, then the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn — about five hours from Milan with changes. Skiing lasts into May, and from Zermatt you can cross over to Cervinia in Italy and come back the same day. By car it is 205 kilometres from Malpensa, usually 3 h 30 min – 4 h 10 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →Cortina has no station of its own — the railway does not reach it. The nearest station is Calalzo di Cadore, about an hour from town by bus. Direct Cortina Express and ATVO coaches run from Venice and Treviso airports and from Mestre station, taking two to three hours depending on the number of stops. By car it is 148 kilometres from Venice, usually 2 h 20 min – 3 h: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →Through the Mont Blanc tunnel and Moûtiers, then the longest climb in the Three Valleys, past Les Menuires. The village is pedestrian: the driver drops you at the unloading point nearest your hotel. By car it is 370 kilometres from Malpensa, usually 5 h 40 min – 6 h 20 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →By train to Châtillon-Saint-Vincent in the Aosta valley, then a SAVDA bus that climbs to Cervinia in about an hour. Outside the winter season the services are noticeably thinner. Until the railway reopens (planned for spring 2027), parts of the Ivrea–Aosta line run as replacement buses — check Trenitalia for your date. By car it is 187 kilometres from Malpensa, usually 2 h 15 min – 2 h 55 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →From Italy the way to Chamonix is the Mont Blanc tunnel: twenty minutes from Courmayeur to the French side. It is a toll tunnel, and the toll is included in our transfer. If you are flying into Geneva, it is closer from there. By car it is 239 kilometres from Malpensa, usually 3 h 10 min – 3 h 50 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →Two roads lead into the Engadin from Italy. The Maloja pass from Chiavenna is shorter but closes in heavy snow. The Julier from Thusis is longer and more dependable, and that is the one used in bad weather. By rail it is the finest approach: Milan to Tirano on an ordinary train, then the Bernina Express through the glaciers, a UNESCO World Heritage line; the whole journey takes about five hours and is worth doing for its own sake. St. Moritz holds around three hundred days of sunshine a year, so people come for more than the skiing; Corviglia, Corvatsch and Diavolezza are three separate areas on one lift pass. By car it is 173 kilometres from Malpensa, usually 3 h – 3 h 40 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →In winter Val d’Isère is reached the long way round through France: the Mont Blanc tunnel, Albertville, Bourg-Saint-Maurice and the Isère valley. In summer, when the Little St Bernard Pass is open, the route is much shorter. By car it is 393 kilometres from Malpensa, usually 6 h 10 min – 6 h 50 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →By train to Bolzano on the Verona — Brennero line, then a local bus up the valley to Ortisei, Santa Cristina and Selva: about another hour. There is also Chiusa station, closer to Ortisei but with fewer buses. From Milan by train with a change it works out at five to six hours. By car it is 196 kilometres from Venice, usually 3 h – 3 h 40 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →The road is the same as to Courchevel: the Mont Blanc tunnel, Albertville, Moûtiers and the climb up the valley. We drive to Méribel Centre and Mottaret. By car it is 350 kilometres from Malpensa, usually 5 h 20 min – 6 h: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →By train to Trento, then a Trentino Trasporti bus up the Rendena valley — about two hours. In season there are occasional direct coaches from Milan and Verona, but they run once a day and not to every flight. By car it is 178 kilometres from Bergamo, usually 2 h 50 min – 3 h 30 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →The road is the same as to Val d’Isère as far as the Chevril dam, then turns off to the Tignes villages. Tell us which one: Tignes-le-Lac, Val Claret or Tignes 1800. By car it is 371 kilometres from Malpensa, usually 6 h 5 min – 6 h 45 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →By train to Tirano — the last stop on the line from Milan, about two and a half hours. From Tirano a bus crosses the pass to Livigno, roughly another two hours. In winter the Foscagno pass is occasionally closed and the buses are cancelled. Livigno is a duty-free zone, so there is sometimes a customs check on the way in. By car it is 213 kilometres from Malpensa, usually 3 h 30 min – 4 h 10 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →The nearest station is Brunico in the Pusteria valley, then about 50 minutes by bus up the hairpins to Corvara and La Villa. The alternative is via Bolzano, but the road is longer. In winter the buses run to the lift timetable rather than to flights, so a night arrival may leave you without a connection. By car it is 172 kilometres from Venice, usually 2 h 50 min – 3 h 30 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →There is no train to La Thuile: the Aosta — Pré-Saint-Didier line closed in 2015. People take the train to Aosta and a bus via Pré-Saint-Didier, or a car straight to the hotel. The ski area is shared with La Rosière in France. Until the railway reopens (planned for spring 2027), parts of the Ivrea–Aosta line run as replacement buses — check Trenitalia for your date. By car it is 223 kilometres from Malpensa, usually 2 h 40 min – 3 h 20 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →There is no railway in the valley. People take the train to Trento or Bolzano, then a Trentino Trasporti bus to Moena, Vigo and Campitello — one and a half to two hours. By car it is 175 kilometres from Venice, usually 2 h 45 min – 3 h 25 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →No train reaches Courmayeur: the Aosta–Pré-Saint-Didier line closed in late 2015 and has not reopened. You take the train to Aosta and continue by bus. Direct coaches run from Milan and Turin, roughly three hours. Courmayeur sits at the mouth of the Mont Blanc tunnel, so people also arrive from Geneva and Chamonix. Until the railway reopens (planned for spring 2027), parts of the Ivrea–Aosta line run as replacement buses — check Trenitalia for your date. By car it is 216 kilometres from Malpensa, usually 2 h 30 min – 3 h 10 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →One of the few Dolomite resorts the railway actually reaches: the Fortezza — San Candido line, stations Brunico and Perca. Perca is closest to the bottom lift station; from Brunico a local bus runs. By train from Milan it means two changes and about six hours. By car it is 205 kilometres from Venice, usually 3 h – 3 h 40 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →The closest Swiss resort to Milan, reached on the Gotthard route, and unlike Zermatt you can drive right to the hotel. By train you go to Göschenen on the main Zurich — Lugano line, from where a local railway climbs to Andermatt in about fifteen minutes; from Milan that is roughly three and a half hours with one change. The Oberalp and Furka passes are closed in winter, but the Gotthard tunnel works all year, so the road is open all year, apart from rare closures in extreme weather. Gemsstock gives steep descents and snow late into spring, Sedrun wide gentle slopes for families; the Glacier Express towards Zermatt also leaves from here. By car it is 185 kilometres from Malpensa, usually 2 h 45 min – 3 h 25 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →Also via Tirano, but closer: about 50 minutes by bus from the station, with services timed to the trains. Of all the Lombardy resorts Bormio is the easiest to reach by public transport. By car it is 203 kilometres from Malpensa, usually 3 h – 3 h 40 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →Neither a station nor a direct coach from the airports. People come via Belluno or Bolzano with a change onto a local service, and in winter that takes half a day. One of those cases where a car wins on time rather than on money. By car it is 162 kilometres from Venice, usually 2 h 30 min – 3 h 10 min: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →By train to Edolo on the branch from Brescia, then a bus to Ponte di Legno and the Tonale pass — about an hour. The branch line is narrow and slow, so from Milan the train takes around four hours. This is the closest of the major resorts to Bergamo. By car it is 117 kilometres from Bergamo, usually 2 h 20 min – 3 h: in winter the time depends on the weather and the state of the road.
Full guide: how to get there →A meet and greet with a name sign, help with the ski bags, and the drive to the door of the hotel or apartment. We book the return at the same time and allow extra time for the mountain road.
A minivan takes up to eight people, a minibus up to sixteen. The price is per vehicle, not per person, and does not grow with the number of passengers. A scheduled bus is usually cheaper for a group — people choose a transfer because it goes straight there, with no changes and no waiting in the cold, and delivers you to the door with the ski bags.
A pair of skis or a board takes as much space as two suitcases. We ask how many ski bags you have when you book and choose the vehicle around them, rather than improvising on the spot.
From Val Gardena to Alta Badia, from Bormio to Livigno, a day in the next valley. Dolomite roads are narrow and snow-covered in winter, and the drivers work on them all year round.
Fitted at no extra cost — just tell us the age and weight when booking. Italian law requires a seat for children under 150 cm, and it is enforced.
We track the flight number, so a night landing or a delay needs no phone calls: the pickup moves by itself. Waiting beyond the free hour is agreed before the trip.
From €240 to €750 per car depending on the resort and the vehicle class. The price is for the whole car, not per person, and is fixed before the trip.

The figure is for a sedan; a minivan costs 25–30% more. Behind every name there is a guide: how to get there by car, by train and by bus.

A car takes two sets with bags, a minivan up to six, a minibus up to twelve. Tell us the number of ski bags when booking and we will send a vehicle that fits them.
Yes. From mid-November to mid-April mountain roads require them, and every vehicle is equipped for the season.
We track the flight number and move the pickup to the actual arrival time. An hour of waiting after landing is included; anything longer is agreed in advance.
Yes. Child seats and boosters are fitted at no extra cost — tell us the age and weight when booking. Italian law requires a seat for children under 150 cm.
For two people a train with a change is usually cheaper, but takes one and a half to two times longer and ends in the centre of the village, from where you still have to reach the apartment with the luggage. For a group the bus is normally cheaper than a vehicle; a transfer is chosen for the door-to-door journey rather than the price.
Yes. The return is booked at the same time, and a car with a driver can be taken for a few hours or a full day for trips to a neighbouring valley.
It happens on the Foscagno on the way to Livigno and on the Stelvio. The driver knows before the passenger does and goes round, which normally adds half an hour to an hour and a half. There is no surcharge for the detour; the price is fixed before the trip. If the road closes completely and there is no way round, the booking is cancelled and you pay nothing: there is no prepayment.
Two sets with bags plus two suitcases in a car, up to six sets in a minivan, up to twelve in a minibus. State the number of ski bags in the request: we choose the vehicle around them, not around the number of passengers.
Yes, that is a separate service: a car with a driver for a few hours or a whole day. People use it to go from Val Gardena to Alta Badia, from Bormio to Livigno, to the thermal baths or an outlet. The price is calculated by route, not by meter.
Yes. St. Moritz, Zermatt and Andermatt are in the price table, and the border inside Schengen does not hold the car up. Austria and other Swiss resorts are driven on request, with the price calculated for the specific route. For Switzerland the motorway vignette is included.
We use a sixteen-seat minibus, or two vehicles that travel together and arrive at the same time. For a group of ten or more with equipment a second vehicle is almost always better value than one large coach.
From the Dolomites to Venice allow three hours before departure plus the drive itself; from Livigno and Bormio to Malpensa, four. In winter that is not over-caution: on a Saturday morning the whole valley drives down at once and the hairpins stand still.
There is no prepayment — you pay the driver on the spot, by card or in cash. Cancellation is free if you tell us more than 24 hours before the pickup. If the airline cancels the flight, we cancel without conditions and without a deadline.
It depends on the group. Children travel at a discount on the train, so for a small family the train is usually cheaper. The transfer is chosen for the door-to-door journey: no changing trains with suitcases, ski bags and a pushchair. Compare the minivan price for your group with the train tickets.
Tell us the airport, the resort and the date — we will send the price and the vehicle class. No prepayment.
